It is up to you, however, keep in mind that all the international students come to Taipei about the same time, good apartments will be taken very quickly.

A: Don’t be surprised, the average age of the buildings in Taipei is 33 years old. However, through well maintenance and renovation, it is not a problem; we only work with well maintained units. 

B: The normal rental term in Taiwan is ‘1-year,’ if you are going to be studying for 5-6 months, it is considered as a short-term rental here. In other words, it will be a bit pricier because the rent also depends on the length of stay. 

C: To move-in (get the apartment key), you need to pay 3 months of rents; first month rent + 2 months of Security Deposit (this will be given back to you before you move-out after the final apartment inspection)

We highly recommend you to prepare enough cash in Taiwan dollars before you arrive, ATM will have a daily withdraw limit depending on your banks.
